Harmony Morgan, Director of Healing Hands School of Holistic Health – Laguna Hills Shares What’s New in 2024

Q – “Healing Hands has been around since 1992, survived the Covid Pandemic and is still alive and thriving….so, tell us, are there any changes we can look forward to at Healing Hands in 2024?”

A – “Absolutely, there are lots of positive changes happening at all three Healing Hands Campuses…..

I’m excited to announce that our Circulatory Massage Instructor, Jeni Bingle, will now also be teaching Community Service, which focuses on special populations.  Students learn how to provide a safe and effective massage to those with special emotional or physical challenges. It covers contraindications and accommodations for working with the Elderly, those recovering from injury or illness, Amputees, PTSD sufferers, and others with physical or mental impairments.

We also recently debuted our Structural Integration Course in San Diego.  It is taught by renown Instructor/Practitioner, John Economos, a Certified Massage Therapist, Licensed Holistic Health Practitioner, and Certified Structural Integrator, (among other distinguished titles).  John brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and insight to the classroom. Currently, John teaches: Principles of Structural Integration, Neuromuscular Therapy, 10 Sessions of Structural Integration, and Passive Joint Movement.

Another happy development is the addition of Courtney Bird, a Certified Massage Therapist and Master of Acupuncture, to our Healing Hands family.  Courtney will be teaching Traditional Oriental Clinical Techniques.. Students examine the Chinese concept of ‘yin/ yang’, that describes opposite but interconnected forces (male & female), and qi (energy).  They will also explore the 12 primary meridians and functions of the associated organs. Through live demonstration and hands-on practice, Courtney teaches traditional healing techniques such as: Gua Sha, Fire Cupping, Moxibustion, and the use of liniments.

For those interested in Energy work, we’re thrilled to announce the return of our popular Chakra Balancing course.  This course will be taught by Debbie DelRio, a Certified Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, and practicing Energy Healer.  Chakra Balancing focuses on enhancing overall health by realigning the body’s energy centers, called Chakras.  When any of these energy centers are blocked, it leads to stagnation in the body contributing to a variety of physical and spiritual ailments. Students learn how to use a combination of massage,  crystals, and essential oils to realign and unblock these centers.  A deeply relaxing experience, a Chakra Balancing session leaves clients feeling calm, refreshed and in a state of mind/body harmony and increased wellbeing.

It’s true!!!! after 28 years in the same location, classrooms for our Escondido Campus moved just 1 mile away to 344 E. Valley Parkway. The newer, expanded space provides a fresh, upgraded learning environment and Clinic for Students and Staff.  Keeping with the concept of New Year renewal, we have also given the Laguna Hills campus a facelift.  In addition to a fresh repaint of the Office, Clinic, and Classroom, we are revising our famous, Hands of Healing tree, donated by fine Artist and Multi-modality Massage Instructor, Ms. Raina Colvin.”
