Neya combines her love for massage with 28 years industry experience, over 1000 hours of massage education, and an intuitive sense of touch. She has maintained her own practice, Catalyst Massage and Wellness Cooperative, since 2011. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutrition and a credential as a Dietetic Technician, Registered, and she began working at Palomar Health Center in Escondido in the Nutrition department helping the dietetic team manage the nutrition software and creating therapeutic dietary menus. Currently, she is working remotely for NANA Management Services, a company in Alaska as part of the regional team. She has taken her expertise in nutrition and is assisting the management team with five different facilities for the Native Alaskan Tribes.
She is excited to share her passion in nutrition balancing her medical background with a holistic perspective. She looks forward to educating students about the foundational basics of nutrition, the benefits of healthy foods and dietary patterns. Understanding these concepts can elevate their sense of well-being and create sustainable life-transforming, behavioral shifts.
Neya graduated from Healing Hands School of Holistic Health in Escondido, CA in 2008 as a certified Holistic Health Practitioner. Further, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University in 2016 with a Bachelors of the Science in Foods and Nutrition.
