Keoni has been in the Massage industry since 1994, receiving Certified Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Practitioner certificates from the Natural Healing Institute in Encinitas, CA in 1994. He has a B.S. degree from San Diego State university in Athletic training, and was an ACE and IDEA certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. He has taught Massage programs in 3 San Diego massage schools which included Hawaiian Lomi lomi, Swedish/circulatory, Sports Massage,  Deep tissue,  Chair massage,  and Dynamic Sports cupping. His Hawaiian Lomi lomi program and Sports Cupping has earned him 2 teacher of the year awards and has landed him with professional sports teams such as the Los Angeles Chargers, San Diego Loyal, San Diego Padres and ATP tennis tournaments. He currently owns and operates his private practice in Encinitas,  "Salgado Sports Recovery" where he treats Professional athletes and active clients, mentors young therapists and teaches private workshops to Spas and Resorts.
