This course teaches how various herbs can affect the physical/emotional body and how students can use them to enhance their massage practice. Students are taught the specific healing effects of different herbs and how to incorporate them into a collection of advanced therapeutic practices. In addition to covering herbal functions and their applications, students learn to create herbal massage products that they will take home, including an herb-infused massage oil and salve. Other areas covered include herbal medicine and nutrition to reduce inflammation relax muscles, reduce spasms, and more.
