Consider a Night Class in Massage Therapy – Find Out if a Career as a Professional Massage Therapist is Right for You

“Professional Massage Therapists use therapeutic touch to help clients relax, treat injuries and promote healing”, said Harmony Morgan.  “Accordingly, Healing Hands School of Holistic Health offers six ‘introductory’ Circulatory Massage classes each quarter. Each of our three locations offer one course during the day and another, as a night class.  This allows students to explore Massage Therapy as a profession without jeopardizing their current employment”, she added.

Laguna Hills:

This Spring our Laguna Hills location offers a Circulatory Massage introductory course that starts May 7th and runs through July 31. This course will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6 to 10pm. The daytime class runs from April 3rd through May 29th. It will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 3pm.

San Diego / Kearny Mesa:

Night classes for Circulatory Massage are also offered at the Kearny Mesa Campus. This Spring, their night class will be in session on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm to10pm. It starts April 3rd and runs through June 26th.  The daytime class will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am to 2pm.  These classes beginning April 24th through June 19th.

Effleurage uses both hands to glide up and down the body simultaneously.

Escondido:

The Escondido campus will be offering their Spring Circulatory Massage night class starting on April 4th through June 27th. This course will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 10pm. The daytime class begins April 17th through June 12th.  It will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 3pm.

Circulatory Massage:

Also referred to as a Swedish Massage, a Circulatory Massage is the most requested modality at Day Spas.  It involves using a massage oil to perform a variety of strokes to relax and increase circulation in the body. Techniques learned include gliding (Effleurage), kneading (Petrissage), and cross-fi

ber friction (Fanning). Special focus is given to proper body mechanics and “draping” techniques. Done properly, Circulatory Massage promotes relaxation, relieves pain, and facilitates a variety of other health benefits.

Healing Hands’ Faculty strives to provide students with the most comprehensive, well-rounded education possible.  That’s why the curriculum includes over 40 Massage and Holistic Health Courses to choose from.  Some of the most popular modalities include Deep-tissue, Sports, and Shiatsu.  Integrative therapies like Hot Stone, Reflexology, Trigger Point,  and TuiNa (Acupressure) are also available. This variety of classes and the Instructor/Specialists who teach them, inspire confidence giving students a competitive edge!
