HHS Holistic Living Retreat April 4th

Holistic Living requires a conscious commitment to creating balance in our lives”, said Harmony Morgan, Director for Healing Hands School of Holistic Health.  “It also requires an understanding that the four dimensions of well-being: physical, emotional, mental and Spiritual, are intimately interconnected.  Accordingly, living a holistic lifestyle requires us to be proactive about self-care and adaptable to the ever-changing needs of these four dimensions. That’s the goal of our Holistic Living Retreat which is held annually over the Easter weekend, April 16th, and 17th.  Our Holistic Living Retreat touches on conscious daily choices our students can make to achieve the highest potential of wellbeing for their mind, body, and soul!”

Healing Hands’ Holistic Living Retreat takes place in a beautiful, undeveloped Canyon setting in the San Diego area. The Retreat affords opportunity for individuals to free themselves from the demands of daily life and immerse themselves in nature. Without modern conveniences to distract them, attendees have from 9am on Saturday to 4:00 pm on Sunday to focus solely on themselves. All students and Alumni are welcome and encouraged to bring their children, friends, and family for a relaxing weekend.  Best of all, students who are enrolled at the school, earn 20 educational credits for attending!

Throughout the weekend, Paula and Neha Curtiss, Founding Directors, and attending Staff Instructors will engage students in a variety of fun, holistic health practices and activities. These may include Yoga, Guided Meditation, Healing Arts, Sacred Dance, as well as a Sweat Lodge.  The retreat’s goal is to experience the joy, peace and well-being that comes from living a balanced, health-conscious life.
