This Winter, the faculty at Healing Hands School of Holistic Health is eagerly awaiting a new crop of aspiring Massage Therapists and Holistic Health Practitioners. At Healing Hands students are taught the benefits of holistic self-care first-hand by adopting a program designed with equal emphasis on the Body, Mind and Spirit.   Graduates leave with an abundance of knowledge about anatomy, physiology, neuro-chemistry plus hands-on experience using a variety of massage modalities and bodywork techniques.

As a school of Holistic Health, both Programs offered at Healing Hands, delve into explorations of how different aspects of our lives affect our health and wellbeing.  The 600-hour Massage Therapist Program prepares Graduates for State Certification through the CAMTC. The 1000-hour Holistic Health Practitioner Program allows students to gain a competitive edge by adding several related holistic health courses. Physical Self-care

  • Balanced nutrition, healthy eating
  • Watch water intake
  • Routine Medical & Dental Exams
  • Daily exercise (minimum ½ hour)
  • Supplements and herbal remedies
  • Time for beauty & hygiene

  • Regular, routine sleep schedule (7-8 hrs)
  • Deep breathing to reduce stress

  • Replace negative mind-chatter with thoughts of hope and possibility

Re-Create Yourself with Recreational Activities

  • Seek out and make time for activities you enjoy

  • Let yourself dance, free-style or with a partner
  • Write poetry, prose or start a book
