Our Silent Healing Partner:

“Did you know….. each of us possesses a silent healing partner that works in diligent cooperation with our Immune Systems”, asked Harmony Morgan, Director for Healing Hands School of Holistic Health – Laguna Hills.  “I’m referring to our ‘Lymph System’ which is described as the network of tissues and organs that clear the body of toxins. An essential modality for holistic (whole) health, our ‘Lymphatic Drainage Massage” class teaches students to stimulate the Lymph System to boost their clients Immune Systems and ultimately their health.  Healing Hands Lymphatic Drainage course will be offered at our Laguna Hills Campus on Wednesdays and Fridays starting on October 9th from 9:30am to 5pm through October 18th. so, mark your calendars!”, she added.

What is our Lymph System?

The human body’s Lymph System performs the essential function of transporting infection-fighting white blood cells called ‘lymphocytes,’ to where they are needed throughout the body.  The Lymph Systems healing effects are so far reaching, it is considered essential to keeping us healthy, vibrant and strong.  Fortunately for Students, Healing Hands’ Staff Instructor, Ms. Denise Fultz, is extremely well-versed in the specialty and designed a 30-hour course to introduce students to this important modality. She combines decades of on-the-job experience along with lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice to teach this important modality to students.

What Does Lymphatic Drainage Massage Entail?

In Healing Hands’ Lymphatic Drainage course, students explore the anatomy of the Lymph System, indications for providing a lymphatic massage, and specific techniques to move lymph fluid from different parts of the body. Students learn how Lymphatic massage can be especially effective in speeding healing after an injury or surgery.  They learn to use Lymph drainage massage to encourage the release of stagnant, toxic fluids in the cells.  These toxic fluids can affect our health in subtle yet important ways such as a lack of energy, minor aches and pains, chronic inflammation or susceptibility to illness.

Employing Lymphatic Massage Therapists:

Knowing how to integrate Lymph Drainage Massage along with other massage modalities can increase the Practitioners value to their Employer.  Learning Lymphatic Drainage allows students to distinguish themselves from less qualified Massage Therapists increasing their competitive edge.  It also allows Graduates knowledgeable of the techniques, to qualify for a greater variety of employment opportunities.  These may include Sports/Rehab Centers, Hospitals, Medical and Surgical Facilities as well as the Geriatric Communities including Hospice and Palliative Care facilities.

About the Course Instructor:

A Certified Massage Therapist and Multi-modality Practitioner, Denise also worked as a Massage and Energy Therapist for Hospice in San Diego.  There, she developed and directed the first Massage Therapy Program for Hospice patients. Her team of Professional Massage Therapists provided therapeutic massage and natural therapies to enhance patient care and comfort. The Program was so well received, it inspired Denise to author her first book; “Comfort Care: Natural Symptom Solutions for Palliative and Hospice Care, which she hopes to publish next year.

In addition to Lymph Drainage Massage, Denise also teaches:  Homeopathic First Aid, Anatomy for Bodyworkers, Geriatric Massage, Circulatory Massage, Tui Na (Acupressure), and Reflexology.  To learn more about Denise, visit her website: www.InnerWellness.org, or E-mail her at  denisehhp@cox.net.
