A Comprehensive Curriculum
Licensed Massage Therapists for over 35 years, Paula Curtiss and husband/Co-Director, Neha, are credited with developing the first Massage Therapy Program for community colleges in SoCal. When they recognized a need for a more comprehensive curriculum, they struck out on their own and founded Healing Hands. Since 1992, the Curtiss’ have worked diligently to expand their curriculum from 8 to over 80 Massage and related holistic health courses. All classes rotate among three regional classrooms located in Kearny Mesa, Escondido and Laguna Hills.
A Fabulous Faculty
As Paula and Neha thoughtfully added new courses, great care was taken to find subject specialists who shared their interactive teaching style. These Instructors lead by example, demonstrate compassion, and interact with great respect for all students regardless of age, race or sexual orientation. This is especially important as massage classes often explore delicate topics such as professional ethics, personal boundaries, tolerance and the importance of the Therapist’s healing intention.

According to their Graduate Placement office, Healing Hands receives dozens more job opportunities monthly, than they have Graduates to fill them. Just as importantly, the opportunities span a wide variety of work environments including: Massage Clinics, Gyms, Airports, Casinos, Hospitals, Airports, Shopping Malls, and many others.
