Holistic Massage School Reveals A Loving Gift That Keeps on Giving!

Looking for that perfect gift?  Something you can give to help your loved ones relax and their minds un-wind?  Or simply a gift that you can give, time and again to promote holistic health for your whole family?

If you answered YES, then consider taking a class in Circulatory Massage from Healing Hands School of Holistic Health.  Considered an ‘Introductory’ course, Circulatory Massage introduces students to bones and muscles of the body and teaches them how to deliver a full- body ‘Swedish-style’ massage.  Students learn a warm-up routine of Tai Chi to prepare them to deliver bodywork.  They also learn basic massage strokes such as gliding (Effleurage), kneading (Petrissage), and cross- fiber friction (Fanning) to manipulate various muscles of the body.  Healing Hands offers 3 Circulatory Massage classes each semester to accommodate students’ schedules.   These include two offered during the day and one in the evening.  The 100 -hour course usually takes about 3 months to complete however,  a month-long course is available to students who choose to accelerate their training.

“According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Massage Therapy is currently a billion-dollar industry and still growing!  said Harmony Morgan, Director for Healing Hands – Laguna Hills.   “In addition to aspiring Professionals, our student-body includes many care-takers and non-professionals learning therapeutic massage simply to nurture loved ones.  Whether students are learning Massage to pursue a career, for personal development, or just so they can pamper friends and family, Healing Hands Faculty is proud to be teaching this incredible, healing work”, she added.

Two of the most respected research groups, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center of Los Angeles, and Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami’s School of Medicine, confirm that Massage offers many more health benefits than previously thought.  Studies showed Massage Therapy increases white blood cells, providing a boost to the immune system.  In addition, Massage triggers your body’s natural antidepressant, Serotonin, which diminishes pain, boosts mood, and increases mental clarity. It positively impacts cardiovascular health and virtually enhances all systems of the body.  Increased public awareness of these benefits is driving a resurgence of interest in Massage, Bodywork and other natural healing therapy.
