Kim Bridges, who goes by the nick-name, Rose, is well on their way to a rewarding career as a Professional Massage Therapist. Although only 500 hours of training are required for State licensure, Rose chose Healing Hands School of Holistic Health (Healing Hands) to enhance their Massage Therapist education with integrative, holistic health practices. By the end of January, Rose will have successfully completed over 830 hours of education and training. These courses include: Circulatory (Swedish) Massage, Anatomy, Herbal Healing, Sports, Therapeutic Stretching, Trigger Point Therapy, plus several Eastern and Western Massage modalities.
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Rose chose one of today’s most in-demand careers with job growth projected to continue at a rate of 22% (vs the average 7%) through 2023! When asked who inspired them to enroll at Healing Hands, they replied, “My sister, Becky, who currently works as a Professional Massage Therapist at, Montage Hotel and Resort.” Rose went on to explain that Becky knew of their interest in holistic health, and heard the Instructors at Healing Hands were exceptional, encouraging them to check it out. Rose said it wasn’t until after Becky gave them that first massage, that they realized how powerful the Healing Arts were, and their potential to transform lives. It was then that Rose made the conscious decision to enroll at Healing Hands and empower them-self to help others in the same way.

A parent to a 2 year old child, Love, Rose said a career as a Professional Massage Therapist will afford financial independence and a flexible work schedule, two important considerations for a young, single parent. When asked about their future career aspirations, Rose revealed plans to move North with life- partner, Rusty. There, the two hoped to invest in a home with enough surrounding property to establish a Holistic Healing Center. Rose says that in addition to providing therapeutic massage, they want to create an Apothecary of Herbal Preparations known to treat many common illnesses and ailments. Rose’s Holistic Healing Center will offer these integrative therapies to positively impact clients’ health, healing and Mind/Body wellness in meaningful ways.
