Part of pursuing your passion is enjoying the experience along the way. At Healing Hands, we strive to create a friendly yet educational environment that will help you succeed in a career as a massage therapist or holistic health practitioner. Here are a few unique benefits that we offer:
Customizable & Flexible Schedules
In order to allow you to explore your interests and passions to their fullest extent, we offer the chance to customize your own schedule and create a program that best fits you. Our courses range from sports massage and yoga therapy to holistic nutrition and chakra balancing. No matter your interest, you’ll be able to choose the classes that will benefit you the most on your educational journey. Our programs, both massage therapy and holistic health, also offer full time and part time enrollment in order to give you more flexibility.
Veterans Benefits
“You were driven to protect and serve us in the military, and now Healing Hands School of Holistic Health is driven to help you succeed in civilian life.” – Paula Curtiss
Healing Hands School of Holistic Health is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, under SAA, to process Veterans Benefits including Title IX and Post 9/11, chapter 30, 31, 33, and 35. From assistance with tuition to a monthly stipend for books and supplies, each chapter provides unique benefits for qualified candidates.
FAFSA & WIOA
One of our goals is to allow you to worry less and learn more. We offer financial aid and WIOA as a way to alleviate any financial stress that you may be experiencing.
Financial Aid is a term that describes a funding package that assists you with costs of tuition, housing, and other fees. The components making up this aid package include federal grants and loans. Grants are forms of awards that do not need to be paid back. Loans at low interest rates are part of the aid package, which have to be paid back once you’re no longer attending college.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) can also prove beneficial to qualified candidates. WIOA is part of the California Training Benefits Program for people who are unemployed or can prove need. The Employment Development Department (EDD) helps to determine your eligibility and assigns a type of training you are authorized for. Healing Hands participates in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, which can provide a grant towards your Massage Therapist or Holistic Health Practitioner tuition.
