Holistic Massage School Offers Classes in Energy-work

A trail blazer for education in Massage and Holistic Health in Southern California, Healing Hands School of Holistic Health (HH) will offer a number of Energy-work classes for bodyworkers in 2017.  Several of these classes will be featured during the Winter Semester that begins January 1st and ends on March 31st.  These classes include:

Reiki I,  a 16 hour course that begins on January 7th, Reiki II, a 32-hour course that begins on January 15thSpiritual Healing, a 16 hour course that begins January 12th, Chakra Balancing, a 24 hour course that begins on March 6th, plus Energywork for Bodyworkers, a 32 hour course that begins March 27.   All these courses are a hands-on body/mind therapies that address healing the whole person on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Reiki I discusses principles while Reiki II takes the discussion and energy practices to a higher level. The modality does not involve physical manipulation, but instead works on the vibrational field surrounding and penetrating the client, its reach is virtually unlimited. In this course, students already familiar with this spiritual, healing practice will focus on techniques to “flow” loving energy through their hands and hearts out to their client, even at a distance! A simple to perform, yet powerful treatment, Reiki can relieve pain, alleviate chronic illness, and accelerate the healing process after any type of medical or holistic treatment.

Chakra Balancing introduces students to the energy system of the body and its energy centers referred to as “Chakras”. Students learn various techniques for balancing their own chakras as well as those of their clients’. Through lecture, demonstration and guided hands-on practice, students will learn how to use crystals, sound and color therapy, visualization meditations, and hands-on energy work to facilitate healthy energy flow. By learning how to balance these energy centers, students facilitate an unimpeded flow of “life-force energy”.  They also gain valuable new “tools” for maintaining a spiritual, mental, emotional and physical balance for themselves and their clients.

Spiritual Healing, is a gentle yet profound therapy defined as the channeling of healing energy from its spiritual source (ie: God) to someone in need. Spiritual healing therefore requires a recognition and acceptance of a “God” with powers greater than our own, by the practitioner. It does not, however, depend on specific religious or spiritual beliefs of therecipient. In this course students are taught to see the body, mind and Spirit of an individual as one unit that must be harmonized for optimal health to manifest. Students learn techniques for deepening their connection to “God”, and practice serving as a conduit for this powerful healing energy. With practice, patience and intent, students learn to facilitate the release of negative patterns that create stress and disease in their clients’ bodies.

In Energywork for Bodyworkers, students learn how blockages at any of these levels can affect the human energy field. Discussions include how the ‘health’ of one’s energy field relates to the potential for disease within their body. Students learn energetic grounding techniques, and discover their unique way of receiving information energetically. Through a deeper understanding of the emotional and spiritual aspects of healing, the student greatly enhances their skills of perception which differentiate them from less sensitive body-workers. The skills learned in Energetic Bodywork enable the student to create better health and balance for their clients as well as themselves.
